Installing WebView2 Runtime

Check if WebView2 Runtime is installed.

When you start SAIBOKU3_EPUB3, a dialog box for installing WebView2 runtime will appear if you do not have WebView2 runtime. If you want to check in advance, you can do so by following the procedure below.

  1. Click Windows Start button - Settings.
  2. Select the app in the Settings dialog.
  3. Search the list of apps in WebView2 in Apps and Functions.

If nothing appears in the search results, WebView2 is not installed.

Install WebView2 Runtime

Download and install the WebView2 runtime from the Microsoft download site.. Download and install the Evergreen Bootstrap.

Install & Uninstall

Install

There is no installer. Please unzip saiboku3_epub3_w64_xxxx.zip.

Uninstall

You can uninstall by deleting the folder containing "SAIBOKU3_EPUB3.exe" file.

How to use

  1. Boot SAIBOKU_EPUB3

    Please boot SAIBOKU_EPUB3 by clicking SAIBOKU3_EPUB3 icon.

  2. BookShelf

    BookShelf

    You can open the e-book by clicking book icon.

  3. Book View

    Book View

    BookShelf
    Back to BookShelf.
    Navigate
    Goto Navigate View.
    Page
    Switch between single page display and double-page display.
    Browse
    You can use buttons on e-book.
    Zoom
    You can enlarge as shown below.

    Zoom Before

    Zoom After

    Move
    Move the enlarged area.
    Center
    Return the display of the book to its original position.
    Undo
    Undo the drawing information.
    Redo
    Redo the drawing information.
    Up/Down
    Display hidden draw tools.
    Pen
    Draw with the specified color.
    Highlighter
    Draw a straight line with the specified transparent color.
    Clear
    Delete drawing information.
    Eraser
    Delete drawing information like an eraser.

  4. Navigate

    Navigate

    Search
    Display a list of pages with keywords.
    Index
    Display the table of contents of the e-book.
    Bookmark
    Display a list of bookmarked pages.
Setup

You can see Setup by clicking Setup button on BookShelf.

Clear the cache.
Show Draw Tool
Display buttons for drawing on the book view.
Drow Tool Botton
Select the type, color, and thickness of the buttons to draw.
