English version of TATARA tutorial was started.
I released the tutorial blog "How to make sculpted prim by TATARA" in English with the help of Gumi Yao and Dendre Benelli. It is English Version of http://rokuro.slmame.com. Though it is unofficial and there are still few articles, it is helpful. Thank you, Gumi Yao and Dendre Benelli!

SOMATO for win32 2.5.20 (04/24/09)
SOMATO will project a flat picture onto your sculpted prim and OBJ File, and display it as the texture of your sculpted prim and OBJ File.
You can specify the strength of light, either Ambient or Diffuse.
And it can add the sculptured prim's natural shadow to the texture.
If you have avater OBJ file and you can divide the OBJ file of an avator for every texture, You can make the texture of skin or clothes simply.
The update to 2.5 is as follows.
-Object Rotate Pane was added.
-The function to adjust arrangement of a source image with the drug of a mouse was added.
NOMI is the software which simply makes sculpted prim of relief from one picture using the brightness of it. A preview can be checked before uploading to SL.
From the original picture, the software outputs a sculpted prim picture and a texture picture. Moreover, better relief can be achieved if the desired height information is added and processed. A user moves a control point, can smooth the surface of relief or can make the relief which is not a square.
The mainly improved functionality is as follows.
-Two projects were added.
If it is rotated, I can edit a table and the reverse side.
-The project can use the aspect rate which can be edited.
-The tab was added to the edit pane.
An old edit pane is called TSUCHI and a new tab is called NOMI. You can edit height with a NOMI tab. You draw height relative to absolute height, use gaussian blur, or can do the pickup of height.
TATARA for win32 4.0.91 (06/15/09)
This Program makes Sculpted Prim texture .tga file. To make Sculpted Prim, this program has 7 modes and can preview it.
TATARA mainly has the following functions.
1) It has a preview function more exact than ROKURO Pro.
2) It can be edited for every section of an object.
3) It can make 4 kinds of PRIM_TYPE and 7 aspect ratio types of sculpted prim.
4) It can output an OBJ file with a texture.
5) It can exchange OBJ file to Blender. etc.
6) It has a simple function which draws a texture.
7) It has the function to shorten edit time, such as a flip.
8) It has an easy edit function like a graphic tool.
Because TATARA draws using OpenGL, it is stabilized like SecondLife and it operates.
In order to check an operation, the trial employment period for three days was prepared. Please try it.
HANKO for win32 1.0.2 (05/24/09)
HANKO is a tool which adds your signature image to the alpha channel of your Sculpt Map file. It protects your work from the stealing by a screenshot etc. And it supports the aspect rate of a Sculpt Map.

PenWorks Desktop "PenWorks Desktop" let you draw on your desktop screen by tablet or mouse.
PenWorks WhiteBoard "PenWorks WhiteBoard" let you draw on picture and video by tablet or mouse. You can
draw JPEG/PNG/BMP files. And you can draw almost all AVI/MPEG/WMV files which media player can play.
UTSUSHI for win32 1.0.3
UTSUSHI is a tool which reads an OBJ file and creates the background image for TATARA or ROKURO Pro or ROKURO or TOKOROTEN. And the outputted image can be used as Base Image of NOMI. You can make the sculpted prim which an avator attaches using this tool and TATARA. You can also combine multiple sculpted prims by them.
SHIBORI for win32 1.0.14 (03/29/09)
SHIBORI shrinkWraps an OBJ file and Sculpted Prim and outputs it to an OBJ file or Sculpted prim.
You can make sculpted prim from OBJ file easy.
SHIBORI 1.0.10-12 users can use their password.
You can wrap an object by three methods.
You can wrap an object by 9 kinds of sculpted prim.
You can adjust the gap.
ROKURO Pro for win32 2.0.50(01/17/09)
This Program makes Sculpted Prim texture .tga file. To make Sculpted Prim, this program has 4 mode and can preview it.
ROKURO Pro mainly has the following functions.
1) It can integrate and use almost all the feature of ROKURO and TOKOROTEN.
2) With a Bitmap tab, you can edit the location of all the control points of scalpted prim.
3) With a new MAGE tab, you can create the body of revolution at which the rotational center bent. So, you can make a wind instrument, an accessory, a neon sign, etc. easily.
4) It can output an .OBJ file. Other 3D editing tools can use outputted .OBJ file.
5) It can use the PSD file of Photoshop as a texture. 3D object can be previewed by a polygon. It is not NURBS.
6) You drag a mouse and can rotate previewed 3D object. If you turn a mouse wheel, the zoom of it is carried out.
The following functionalities were added by 2.0.
-The function to specify the aspect ratio of a map file with a File-New menu
-The plug-in function (Polygon plug-in and stairs plug-in)
-The function to read VU map file which Blender outputted
-Start From Vertex to the Shape menu.
*The fault which cannot read an OBJ file was corrected.
Because ROKURO Pro draws using OpenGL, it is stabilized like SecondLife and it operates.
ROKURO Pro works on Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac. And it also works on VMware Fusion. Thank you Caolila Inglis!

ObjCut for win32 1.1.3 (03/02/09)
ObjCut divides OBJ File by the material, the group, and the selected group.
ObjCut 1.0.1 users can use their password.
NUIME for win32 1.0.0a (03/22/09)
TATARA and SOMATO judge the Stitching Type of a Sculpt Map automatically.
When they read the Sculpt Map which is output by a 3D tool, it may not be recognized correctly.
NUIME corrects a Sculpt Map so that Stitching Type of a Sculpt Map may be correctly recognized by TATARA or SOMATO.
ROKURO(lathe) for win32 1.04(05/02/08)
This Program makes Sculpted Prim texture .tga file of a solid of revolution for Secondlife.

TOKOROTEN(extruder) for win32 1.07(08/14/07)
This Program makes Sculpted Prim texture .tga file of the pushed-out object.
